Under the supervision of the Project Director,the Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing major projects. They plan, direct, organize, coordinate, and control—either independently or with other project managers—the execution of one or more construction projects simultaneously.
Requirements
• University degree or technology diploma in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 10+ years of experience in the construction industry
• Civil engineering construction experience (bridges, infrastructure, tunneling, water/sewer, heavy civil)
• Proven track record of successful project execution and team leadership
• Strong knowledge of geology and geotechnical principles
• Experience in large-scale projects and partnership environments
• Familiarity with alternative project delivery models (Design-Build, P3)
• Financial acumen and strong understanding of codes and legislation
• Advanced management, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with scheduling software and general computer skills
• Bilingualism is an asset; proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required
